It will soon be the time when you’re thinking about planning your packing to head back to Uni or head off for the first time! Although it’s tempting to take everything you own and completely fill your car as you set off to your halls or student house, it’s probably not wise to bring absolutely everything.

So, to help you out a little when it comes to making style decisions, we thought we’d create a little list of what you need to remember when packing to go back to Uni.

Start with Fresh Underwear

If you’re going to treat yourself to anything before a new semester of learning, why not let it be some decent undies? You live in these things day in and day out so make sure they’re at the top of your shopping list as you prepare for a new year at Uni.

Get the Basics Right

Your basics take you through the seasons and become staples in your wardrobe to mix and match with everything else that you wear. So, they need to be good.

Invest in A Selection of Jeans

Most students are going to live in jeans. Day to day, and taking you from day to night, jeans are a go-to for everything from comfort to style, so it’s worth making sure you have a couple of the key fits to get you through the semester for every occasion that might crop up.

Slogan & Graphic Tee’s Will Get You Through

Slogan and graphic t-shirts are a must-have in every wardrobe now and they make it so easy to style any of your other clothing. From your favourite jeans or dungarees to dressier midi skirts and satin slip dresses, having a selection of t-shirts means you have an option to pair with pretty much everything.

Get your basics right with some black, white and grey options and then add a couple of statement colours in case you feel like brightening up your look.

Keep Comfort in Mind

Comfort is so important when you’re a student. It’s the worst when you’re trying to concentrate and you’re being distracted by your super-tight waistband or an uncomfortable fabric. Add some seriously comfortable pieces to your packing to make sure that if you need to concentrate, it’s not on the fit of your clothes!

Go for comfort and style in one with our ultra-relaxed-fit jumpsuits that pair with a tee and some classic trainers for easy everyday styling.

You’re Going to Live in Trainers

Trainers are now acceptable pretty much everywhere and with everything so they are going to make up a decent portion of your footwear wardrobe. Opt for a couple of classic shapes, like Vans and Converse and then add in some statement chunky trainers for an on-trend edge.

Packing on the slightly lighter side might make you panic that you won’t have enough clothes to wear, but it can actually make you style and use your clothes much better. It can also shorten the “I have nothing to wear” meltdowns that come with having too much stuff in your wardrobe to look at. Get your basics right and keep your day to day life in mind when packing and you’ll nail your back to Uni looks in no time.
